365 Days UnNaked

My goal is simple: Never repeat a single outfit within the span of one year. 

To most, this proposition may seem superficial–and a bit excessive; but my reasons for embarking on this journey are anything but superficial. Like a piece of art, I look at fashion as something that cannot be recreated. After all, no one took a look at the Mona Lisa and said, "make me another." Each outfit I create says something about me in that particular moment–on that particular day. Every outfit I create is tailored to my particular state in that moment. Since I cannot recreate moments, I am choosing to never recreate outfits (for one whole year). 

In beginning this blog, I hope that fashion will gift me with a new significance; not just as a form of expression but also as a creative way to remind me to be present in each moment, each day and enjoy life as it is here in this moment. For anyone who knows me well, I tend to be the type that lives in last year. So with each day, each moment, and each outfit I am not looking behind me nor ahead. Instead, I am looking at my closet mirror–reflecting upon myself and seeing what is here, right now.
